Any healthcare professional who wishes to pursue more education should have that opportunity, and through scholarships provided by Baptist Health and Baptist Health Foundation, many do. From a yearlong practical nursing certificate to advanced degrees, scholarships are offered to a wide range of deserving current and future students.
Baptist Health College Little Rock produces some of the finest healthcare professional candidates in the state, largely in part to the more than $300,000 in Foundation scholarships awarded to students at the school each year. Without donations from generous donors, this would not be possible. (If you are a student looking to apply for a scholarship, visit https://www.bhclr.edu/)
Continuing Nursing Education Scholarships
Through a partnership with Baptist Health System Nursing Leadership and Baptist Health Human Resources, more than $5,000 in tuition assistance is available to nurses who desire to complete a bachelor’s degree, an advanced degree or specialized professional certificate.
We strive to provide ample opportunity for Baptist Health nurses to pursue further education which improves our hospitals, clinics – and ultimately, patient outcomes. Make a donation toward scholarships for the talented nurses that provide amazing care.
"This sponsorship is truly life changing for me. This semester, I struggled to pay tuition and was discouraged as to whether or not this path was obtainable for me. Now, I feel confident in knowing that nursing was what I was meant to do. Not only did this sponsorship immensely help financially, but it also proved to me the impact that an individual can have on others to change the world for the better."
- Moeko Ozaki, Nursing Student
"I graduated from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock with a Master of Business Administration in May 2015. In the three years that I attended classes, I received the tuition assistance grant offered by Baptist Health. I worked full time, attended night classes, married my best friend, participated in a medical mission trip to West Africa and took the position of Unit Supervisor CCU. Achieving these goals without the aid of the tuition reimbursement would have been close to impossible."

The scholarship opportunities the Foundation provides allows students to advance their education and achieve their dreams of entering the health care field. As a recipient of one of these scholarships, I was able to complete my degree in registered nursing and realize my passion for health care and helping others."

"Receiving the Erin Propst Scholarship was a great honor. It has inspired me to continue to do my very best and provide the best care possible to all my patients. I am so deeply humbled by the kind acts of the Propst family. I thank and appreciate the family for giving me the opportunity to use the scholarship funds to further my education. "
