A baby in need of intensive care may spend weeks, or even months, in the NICU before going home. This period is full of uncertainty for parents of these babies, and for the 60% of Baptist Health families from rural areas of Arkansas, the list of concerns includes finding a place to stay.
The Baby Project helps keep parents close to their babies by providing a free room at The Inn at Baptist Health for families that live 50 miles or more away from Baptist Health–Little Rock. Located across the street from the hospital, the hotel has three rooms designated for The Baby Project that provide a comfortable place to stay for 100 families each year. The Baby Project also funds necessary – and life-saving – equipment for the NICU, providing our renowned physicians with the best tools to care for Baptist Health’s tiniest patients.
Funded solely by donations, The Baby Project keeps families with their babies during a tumultuous, critical time, and helps ensure the Baptist Health NICU is equipped to care for each baby that comes through its doors – and you can be a part of making it happen. Any amount you contribute will positively impact NICU patients and their families, but if you contribute the amounts below, you can have your name added to the future Legacy Wall, or name a room or piece of equipment in the NICU.
Legacy Wall: Add your name to the future donor wall in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Baptist Health Medical Center–Little Rock.

"It’s a blessing to have a place to stay that’s so close. If I didn’t have it, I know I’d be going crazy at home trying to figure out how to get up here. It’s comforting knowing that we’re never far away, and we can be by his side whenever we want, for as long as we want."
