Babies in need of intensive care may spend weeks, or even months, in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) before going home. During this time of uncertainty for parents, The Baby Project provides funding for our tiniest patients and their families.
The Baby Project helps supply live-saving resources for NICU infants, keeps parents close through free hotel lodging, and gives families remote visitation access to their babies 24 hours a day with Angel Eye cameras at Little Rock and Fort Smith campuses. The Baby Project provides our renowned physicians with the best tools to care for Baptist Health’s tiniest patients.
Funded solely by generous donations, your support of The Baby Project keeps families with their babies during a stressful time. Any amount you contribute will positively impact NICU patients and their families. See the additional opportunities to donate below.
Angel Eye Cameras for NICU Families
Angel Eye Camera Systems allow parents, grandparents and siblings to see and interact with babies in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) via secure live video streaming and one-way audio. By enabling moms and dads to see their children 24 hours a day from a laptop, tablet or smartphone, Angel Eye promotes bonding between parents and their babies – even if the infant is in the NICU for days, weeks or months.
Currently, not all Baptist Health NICU beds that have an Angel Eye Camera System. Each system costs $2,700 that includes one camera, software and installation. Participate in our Year-End Giving Campaign to help fund Angel Eyes!

"It’s a blessing to have a place to stay that’s so close. If I didn’t have it, I know I’d be going crazy at home trying to figure out how to get up here. It’s comforting knowing that we’re never far away, and we can be by his side whenever we want, for as long as we want."
