A History of Building Healthier Communities
In 1963, the Baptist Health Foundation was created to provide financial support for the healing ministry of Baptist Health. Arkansas’ largest and most comprehensive not-for-profit healthcare organization, the Baptist Health system, includes 11 hospitals, a nursing and allied health college, a graduate residency program, and numerous community outreach efforts.
For more than 60 years, the Baptist Health Foundation has provided the funding needed to strengthen Baptist Health’s ability to deliver comprehensive treatment, innovative services and trusted care.
From the day we opened our doors, we’ve improved the health of all Arkansans, including the homeless, uninsured, underinsured, and underserved, no matter what hurdles stand in the way. Much of our success is thanks to the generosity of our partners.
Through vital partnerships, the Foundation has provided critical financial support for a vast array of life-saving projects, including a few of the most notable listed below.
