What is the Chaplain Emergency Fund?
When our Baptist Health team members are affected by financial hardships, they can apply for assistance through the Chaplain’s Emergency Fund. This fund has been established to provide relief for our employees who are experiencing serious situations such as disasters, extended illnesses/injuries, domestic violence, death of loved ones, and other difficult circumstances.

DeJarnae recounts her experience during the March 31st tornado. She describes the devastation of seeing her home and belongings destroyed and the overwhelming feeling of helplessness. DeJarnae emphasizes the incredible support she received from Baptist Health and its Chaplain Emergency Fund program, which provided immediate assistance. Brian shares his 20-year journey with Baptist Health and a recent personal crisis. After undergoing ankle surgery and battling pneumonia, Brian discovered that his 16-year-old daughter was diagnosed with leukemia.
