LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Baptist Health Foundation is honored to have Mike Shepard and Lynann Hill co-chair the 2026 Arkansas Charity Clays event presented by CompleteCare. This year’s event will benefit Baptist Health Behavioral Health Services.
Shepard serves as the director of facilities and security at First National Bank. Hill is the executive director of special projects at CompleteCare. The co-chairs look forward to the 15th Arkansas Charity Clays event and raising funds to help those who seek and need behavioral health services from Baptist Health.
“As co-chair for the 15th anniversary of Arkansas Charity Clays, I’m honored to partner with Baptist Health Foundation to support such a vital cause- advancing behavioral health care in Arkansas,” Shepard said. “Ensuring that individuals in our community have access to quality behavioral health resources is crucial, and this event gives us the opportunity to share about the importance of this care.”
Proceeds secured from the clay shooting event can assist with essential therapy and medication for uninsured patients and will support the expansion of telehealth capabilities in rural areas. Additionally, these resources will be dedicated to suicide prevention education, equipment upgrades for inpatient care and providing transportation for discharged patients who lack the support needed to get home safely.
“Serving as co-chair for this milestone year is deeply meaningful to me because the funds raised directly transform lives,” Hill said. “Whether it’s expanding telehealth access in rural Arkansas, providing suicide prevention education, or ensuring uninsured patients get the essential therapy and medication they need, this event helps bridge critical gaps in mental health care.”
The event will be held Oct. 23 at the Arkansas Game & Fish Foundation Shooting Sports Complex in Jacksonville. The clay shooting tournament hosts over 280 shooters each year and is currently sold out.
“Baptist Health Foundation is incredibly grateful to Mike, Lynann, CompleteCare and all of our sponsors for making this year’s event a sold-out success,” said Janet K. Marshall, chief development officer. “Hosting over 280 shooters at the Arkansas Game & Fish Foundation Shooting Sports Complex highlights the strength of our community when we come together to expand access to mental health care across Arkansas.”
