BHMC–Little Rock was the first hospital in Arkansas to achieve Advanced Certification in Spine Surgery from The Joint Commission, and has been recognized as a Blue Distinction Center+ for Spine Surgery by Blue Cross Blue Shield and an *Aetna Institute of Quality for Spine.
The program’s success is reflected in patient-reported outcomes that exceed national averages and its expansion to BHMC–North Little Rock, which has also achieved Advanced Certification. Through coordinated, comprehensive care—from consultation to rehabilitation—the Baptist Health Spine Program sets the standard for spinal surgery excellence in the region.
