On June 3rd, Baptist Health Foundation hosted hundreds of family members, friends, and Baptist Health NICU Nurses as they all came together to celebrate at the Dr. Seuss-themed NICU Reunion. The event included a live DJ, a petting zoo with everything from baby pigs to ducks, catered food, and much more. The families of these precious NICU Alumni got to reunite with the familiar faces that they once spent days and weeks with in the Baptist Health NICU.
Our healing ministry works tirelessly around the clock to ensure each baby has the best possible chance of survival. Our patients’ families make deep connections through trust in their caregivers to help their babies win their fight for life. This bond was on full display as patients and their families were reunited with their doctors and nurses to celebrate
Throughout the event, smiles and laughter erupted, and hugs were not hard to come by. Our Baptist Health caregivers and NICU families are part of an exclusive club that cultivates a lifelong bond filled with hope and healing.
